  • After connecting with Custom by Kuntz, Matt and Juli will visit your project site to see the space and learn about your vision. We will discuss your goals, needs, budget, and timeline, as well as provide on-site first impressions about possible opportunities and considerations for your project. Make sure to bring any inspiration photos so we can learn about your style aesthetic!

  • After your consultation, Matt and Juli sit at the drawing table to draft out an estimate based on your goals and ideas using their construction, material, and design knowledge. With countless custom renovation projects under their belt, we will fuse your unique vision with trade secrets and best practices to provide you a quote that checks the boxes while staying within your budget.

  • One aspect of the home project process that sets Custom by Kuntz apart is our passion for communication and attention to revision. After sending the initial quote, we will collaborate with you until the estimate fits your budget and goals! Not sure what you want yet? No problem! Matt and Juli will also work with you to provide a variety of “good, better, best” options if you are still deciding the scope and style of your project!

  • Once you are ready to move forward, it’s as simple as clicking “yes!” We use account software to make the process of accepting the estimate, e-signing the contract, and paying the 50% down payment quick, seamless, and entirely online. How easy is that?

  • Matt and Juli will communicate with you to determine a realistic timeline that best fits your needs. This is often dependent on lead times for materials and subcontract schedules, both of which can be layered and complex! Fortunately, Custom by Kuntz has a fantastic network of professional construction experts and material vendors, which we proactively manage to ensure that your project runs continuously and quickly.

  • Sit back, relax, snap some “before” photos for your social media, and get excited for your design dream to become your reality! Here is where the Custom by Kuntz team takes the reins and begins working on your project.

  • Throughout the project’s entirety, Juli will be present to offer design ideas as your project takes shape. From wall color to material styles to finishing touches that make your project feel like yours, Juli will develop lookbooks and options to make sure the final product matches your vision. While larger home renovation companies may have a limited or set design for their projects, the sky is truly the limit with Juli by your side!

  • While this is only a single step on the page, a lot goes into this part of the project. It can be intimidating to not know what’s behind your walls before you open them up, but this is where Matt excels—-he is a master at creative problem solving! Throughout the construction process, Matt will communicate updates, discoveries, and possibilities for your project. If scope needs to change throughout the process (or you decide to add on to your project because you have an awesome new idea!) Custom by Kuntz will work with you to incorporate your new ideas and make sure no details are missed.

  • Before you know it your project will be finished! Matt will meticulously complete the final steps of the construction, and will collaborate with you to ensure you are happy with the results. This is the time to submit your final invoice, take photos of your finished space, and leave Custom by Kuntz a review about your experience.
